What is the best way I can shave some strokes off my game?
Q. I am a 15 year old high school golfer trying to shave a few strokes off by improving somewhere. I would like some tips and advice on what I should work on.

A. I agree with some of the others...short game practice. At the high school level and junior tournament level, there are tons of kids who can bomb the ball 280-300 yards off the tee, but many struggle around the green. My son, 18, received 19 college offers nationwide to play golf. His freshman year of high school he average 54 per nine...by the following year he was averaging 42, in his junior year he was a +1 handicap. Nothing really changed from his freshman year to his junior year except for the hours he spent on the practice green. Here are some of the things he did: 1) Chipping/Pitching using various methods. What kind of doctor/specialist would be good for someone having strokes?
Q. My grandma is very sick from having strokes and she has a doctor that is internal medicine...Is this correct?? thanks!

A. It is quite common for internists (specialist in internal medicine) to handle patients who have strokes. Particularly since most strokes are caused by vascular disease, which is usually managed with blood pressure/cholesterol medications and anti-platelet medicines (like aspirin or Plavix). Like the answer said above, her doctor might consider sending her to a Neurologist (specialist in the brain and spinal cord) if her doctor suspects a more complicated type of stroke or she has recurrent strokes despite therapy. Are certain people built for different swim strokes?
Q. I started competitively swimming last year. As it turns out I suck at freestyle, but am one of the best at breaststroke (technique-wise, not speed-wise yet :/ ). Are certain people built for different strokes? I've been swimming after the season with a swim club, and my freestyle is still incredibly slow, even though my technique is great.

A. Sometimes it depends on height or build. But mostly, I think it really depends on the swimmer. I'm a breast stroker but my second best is freestyle. I suggest that you continue your good technique then try to do it a little bit faster.
