A community college is usually a college for freshmen and sophomores. There are also a few four year colleges where you earn a bachelor's degree, then have to go elsewhere if you want to earn a graduate degree (Masters). A university is a college for freshman through graduate students. Many students never go to a "college" but to a full university directly out of high school. Decide on which school (either college or university) you want to attend, and complete the application for that school. Yeah, its definitely not an either/or situation, but I also feel like you can't simply learn how to be a good writer just from college - it can only provide you with form and organizational skills. A lot of the time for film classes you'll have to write a lot anyway, whether its a synopsis or plot line for your film or an essay, so you'll get plenty of practice writing. So I'd say stick with film and just try to minor in english lit, or least take a few survey courses - you'll probably have the time if you plan on doing a full 4 year bs. For quickie info on literature or writing, I'd look into college/university workshops. Q. For one of our classes, we have to complete a project that's been very difficult for me. We are supposed to choose our top three career ideas, and come up with a "plan" for our college years. Since I'm confused already, could anyone help ? I've chosen the departments: Medical (Physical Therapy) Humanities (Psychology) Arts (Dance) Is there a college/university that would allow me to major in these areas ? I'm really struggling, and if anyone could help, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance(: Asked by ccflo95 - Tue Feb 10 20:05:15 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments From Yahoo Answer Search: "college and university" |
